Absolute disaster - they don't even know that GA4 is coming. You cannot get GA4 to work on their ecomm platform AT ALL.
What I love about Weebly is not only the ability to build responsive websites with control over the layout (ie - one is not completely trapped in the template) but WIX has also partnered with Square for ecommerce. Again, there is a learning curve but it is a nice tool to learn.
That is why we are here. Full review here:
TWG - Website Builder Review - Weebly Website Builder (thewebsiteguy.biz)
Not very customizable. Limited ability to add functionality or scale as your business grows.
Less expensive but also less user friendly and has less tools.
Very easy drag and drop design. Beautiful results.
Basic and inefficient
Weebly is OK, but their tools are still primative. They don't offer much as far as email marketing or anything like that. Their forms setup isn't great either. As a container based site, they offer a little creativity, and I did enjoy all of the account assets being available in one place.
Next to Squarespace, this is my second go-to option, especially for people who want to manage their own site without a bunch of technical understanding.
Weebly used to be pretty bad but they've improved a lot. For a small site that makes a client look professional - I consider this as an option - especially if it is a very small business and pockets are shallow.
Not much to say. It's just ok. If I was getting a free site on this tool I'm all in. I can't see paying to use it.
