I have used QuickBooks for over 20 years.
I am Advanced Certified in both QB Desktop and Online. As an advisor, I have come to prefer QBO: anywhere, anytime access, easy collaboration with clients, better diagnostic, troubleshooting and clean up tools, custom reports, forecasting, easier 3rd party integrations, robust Bank Feeds and Bank Rules (I just coded 8000 transactions - oof). Add the RightTools app and it is gold.
All of my clients use QuickBooks Online - quite adaptable to all sizes of businesses and many different types.
I recommend QuickBooks Online to all my clients. It makes tracking income and expenses easy.
I like the convenience, to many ways to do the same thing, which can be confusing.
