It comes built-in with many different options, and if you need more options there are many plugins out there. I like how extendable the WooCommerce platform is. There are over 5,000 free plugins, many premium plugins, and it's all open source allowing you to create your own WooCommerce plugins, or hire someone to do it for you. All of our e-commerce customers use WooCommerce, and we're able to setup additional features for them like a Google Analytics integration, automated checkout testing, and an iOS app, and that makes WooCommerce more desirable too. Lastly, WooCommerce is a part of WordPress, which makes it easy to create banners and pop-ups, and being able to tap into WordPress plugins to perform activities such as SEO optimization, redirects, etc., is pretty neat. There is literally a plugin out there for anything you might want done, which is something that other platforms like Big Commerce are not as good at.

PPC is the least effective, but allows you start improving your website's conversion factor now. Some basic on-site SEO should be done, but as far as link building goes, it will just happen naturally as you work towards branding your self/company. Networking can help you find companies you can partner with along with helping you find potential customers. You should be aware of how tactics like SEO, PPC, advertising, and networking work, so you can take advantage of any easy gains in these areas, but this should not be your focus. Now to answer the original question. I think the biggest mistake people make is focusing on getting customers immediately when the focus should be on establishing your brand, and thus setting yourself up for long-term success. One of the best methods for establishing a brand is to find ways of providing underpriced/free value to others. The most common method of doing this is by providing entertaining or educational content delivered through videos, podcasts, blogs, social media, etc. You can also create free software, start a local meetup, speak at conferences, etc. The difficult part is having the confidence that your actions are going to pay of in the long-term when you're not seeing any immediate success.

(more) If you're looking to invest, I would buy the top 5 cryptocurrencies, and then every 3 months I would rebalance your investments so that you have an equal amount of the top 5 currencies again. If you're looking to accept cryptocurrency payments, Monetha is beta testing a payment processor for this, and uTrust is currently developing one, but neither of those options is production ready. For now there is bitpay, but it does not accept USD like the other two options did. Now for your actual question. If by reliable, you want a cryptocurrency that isn't that volatile, there's Tether (USDT). One tether is always equal to one dollar give or take a little. Other than that, you're not going to find anything. All cryptocurrencies will continue to be very volatile until we see more people using them for there intended use, instead of as an investment asset. That won't happen for many years. If by reliable you mean a currency whose technology is reliable. Bitcoin currently has scaling problems. Iota is still in its early stages of development, but does not have any scaling issues. Ethereum is set to greatly improve its scalability this year. Ripple can handle many transactions per second. And you would have to research other currencies to see how they compare. There are many others that claim to have superior technology, but I don't know how many have actually tested out heavy usage of their cryptocurrency. To sum everything up, I don't know what your intentions are, but at the moment cryptocurrencies are anything but reliable. P.S. my favorite cryptocurrency is IOTA.
