Without question, our government does NOT care about small businesses and I would even go as far as saying they are deliberately making things more difficult for small businesses in order to further big corporation profits.  (more) Without question, our government does NOT care about small businesses and I would even go as far as saying they are deliberately making things more difficult for small businesses in order to further big corporation profits.

Realtors come and go and when they stop using you as their "preferred inspector", they will not call you, they will not email you, they just drop you with no notice and you never hear from them again. Why waste your time, money and energy on something like that? Every day, home buyers are becoming more and more leary of the realtor/home inspector relationship. Market directly to the public. By doing this, you stay away from the very real perception of a conflict of interest. You will also gain more notoriety and respect.

I do research the other companies in town but do not spend too much time on it. I simply look at what they are doing just to reassure myself that we are so much different than they are. Being outside of the box of normalcy is the way we have succeeded for over 14 years. (more) I do research the other companies in town but do not spend too much time on it.
