I am not sure about your business and who is your target customer, but you need to get out there :-) Fix your objectives as a company and develop strategies around your objectives; online blogging, SEO, SEM, Social Media, Direct Sales, Telemarketing, Trade Shows visits, Trade show exhibits, look at what would yield best ROI and develop your market. You need good credibility, notoriety, unique value proposition and competitive pricing. Make sure your website describes your offering well and create campaigns (either though email marketing, various promotions, etc). Good Luck!

You need to built your credibility first: Use social Media and marketing opportunities to write valuable content, create videos and post them on YouTube, write a book, write a story to attract people to want to listen to what you have to say. Make sure your website addresses the right personas. Give people advice on how to stay motivated for example. Then start by inviting people to a free conference, be creative :-) Gather testimonials and get feedback. Adjust and repeat. Promote yourself to companies by using those experiences and the feedback (testimonials) from participants. Build your network. Use all the relevant conferences that you can get into and network with others! Talk to people, LISTEN to people, show how fabulous you are with great advice and personality, generate opportunities and close yours sales. Success is all about integrating all your efforts and focussing on your global strategy. Use all the channels that you can. I wish you all the best!

There are plenty of very affordable classes online that your managers can take that will help them grow, combined with good mentoring and coaching from the top. You must coach and grow your management team according to your values and corporate culture. In addition, I have seen very poor leadership in major corporations as some managers are promoted because of longevity, this doesn't result in good leadership and management. A good manager will also want to grow their own skills and look for courses and mentoring themselves.

They constantly refused to adapt to their clients. When boutiques started to open until 9 weekdays, they refused. When online came, they were lagging, hey didn't adapt with their brand and they managed like the 70's. What you need to learn is that you cannot surf on your past gains anymore. You need to constantly adapt. There has never been as many tools as today to analyse your consumer, their behavior and their purchasing habits. The global experience, omni-channel offering and ensuring that you are presenting the right brands and that you are offering your consumer the right experience (Zara for example is great at this. You can purchase online or at the store, you can return anything, no questions asked, you receive your purchase in a box wrapped like a gift, they make their customers feel great, in addition to making sure that they renew their inventory and offer fashion that appeals to their clients). Another major issue in the retail industry is the recycling of the same people at the top level. That too prevents fresh ideas. (in the case of Sears, hiring your wife in a major role is also not very smart). Lesson to learn: Adapt to changing times, create great experiences to your customers and offer brands that appeal to a growing market, not the ones that are no longer buying.

Good luck! Sophie

Just be careful when you are creating email templates to make sure that you delete both CSS and visual if you make a change in your email automation process affecting the visual!
