About Us
Certus Bookkeeping LLC is a Xero-only, cloud-based bookkeeping business helping businesses gain greater clarity and insight into their businesses by moving them to a cloud-based accounting system. Our goal is to help business owners move from spreadsheets and paper to efficient, cloud-accounting systems to save time so they can grow their businesses.
How We Got Started
Certus Bookkeeping, LLC was originally begun in 2016 as a part-time venture creating a foundation to make the move into a full-time business during 2020. During the intervening 4 years, we have helped a wide variety of businesses from software development to photography and from dog groomers to eCommerce.

I prefer Xero over Quickbooks/QBO. The interface is cleaner and I believe more intuitive. Honestly, it is a question similar to Coke versus Pepsi. I can drink both, but I love (enter your drink of choice here).

If you have not decided yet, I recommend you sign up for a free trial of both Xero and QBO or ask for a demo. That should help you with your decision. You have to find out which you like best as they both have very similar functionality.
I enjoy doing the monthly bank recs. As my clients are actively using Receipt Bank and the Xero integration, the recs are quick and easy. It is not often when I have to research anything.
