You know my name, though most assume that this is all I do since I am an Indy web business owner. I am (for lack of a better title) kind of like a Gordon Ramsay of small business. I am essentially a small to medium-sized business "debug" specialist. I educate thousands yearly on the ins and outs of business establishment and sustained prosperity. I find that at least 95% of web business owners do not have even the most basic marketing knowledge when it comes to websites. Most think: "If I build it, and build it well, they will come" meaning customers, new clients etc. Nothing could be further from the trust. Any desktop monkey can build a website, especially today. But what matters more than most other items is HOW WELL YOUR WEBSITE CONVERTS VISITORS TO BUYERS. It can be the prettiest, most aesthetic website on the web, but it will fail 9/10 times based on conversions. Consequently, if we skip this step, it won't matter how much a customer dumps into advertising with Google, META, or the tools they use if conversions are sub-par. If websites are NOT compelling and do not properly and effectively engage visitors, money on advertising, and driving traffic will be (In large part) wasted. When I was a dental consultant many years ago, I taught doctors (on an administrative level) how to run their practice. Dentists are typically given less than 100hrs of education on administrative function on their quest for a degree and licensure. It set them up for failure, especially since a lot of the information they were given was outdated by the time they graduated. What I am basically saying is, that there is a foundation to the field of web and web design. The basics so many web designers and devs is rarely if ever taught, which sets them up for failure. For the record, I am not here for anything other than to add oil to the gears and to make sure (If anyone has any interest in what I am saying) that we all have the right tools to succeed. One of the issues with the field we are involved with, is that it is constantly changing. It sounds like Nicholas has a lot of that worked out. I am here for the things that you won't learn online unless you know where to look. It is my desire to provide further support. I ask for nothing in return other than feedback. We're in a new era with regard to website design and development, and it is extremely important to understand the basics. If anyone needs information outside of what Nicholas is offering, please feel free to ask within the group. What matters most is that we all do well in this field. Not much, IMO. Also, the trend itself (shown as an line with arrow) is diluted by the face. Again, who is this woman and why is she in this image? Hope that helps.
