We're planning for our September 18 Native Plant Festival to be a combination. The self-guided nursery tour and plant sale will take place at grower sites around the area rather than at a single location; half the gardening presentations will be in person and half online; a few exhibitors will be in person, and our iNaturalist Native Plant BioBlitz will by definition have online participation.
Since we gained so many participants in our Wine Women and Wealth (WWW) events during covid from outside of Hampton Roads, we have shifted to hybrid. Wanted these great ladies from outside of the area to still be able to attend our events to network, participate and grow their knowledge and businesses through our event. We did host a live only WWW last month and had over 130 ladies hungry for community!!
I've been using zoom for years before the pandemic but I prefer to meet in person. There's a better connection and I can see how my teaching is landing because of access to more body language. But I must admit zoom is very convenient. I have a teacher in Australia, fellow meditators all over the US. I can meet people all over the world. Can't beat that! I'll probably do a hybrid model.
I am teaching yoga in person outdoors in a park.
I am hosting digital events as they can reach people globally and I don't have to deal with the complexity of COVID-19 safety.
A current workshop I'm doing is for the California Women's Business Center in Sacramento. The participants will be given a link to a download for the materials for the workshop. This helps in learning and providing a framework to follow in the workshop and after.
In the workshop they will learn how to take an idea or goal and develop an action plan to make it a reality. Here is the link to the event: https://cacapital.org/calendar...
My fall schedule of yoga classes will be a combination of in-person and online (Zoom). Many people like the convenience of online classes and prefer to continue.
My events are digital because the audience and community that I have built is nationwide(with some international participants as well) and so a digital event will reach everyone.
I'm hosting a FREE weekly (sometimes twice a week, an evening and a daytime) on Bridging the Divide: How to Become A UNIFYING power in a world of division. I work with stressed out professional mothers who are wanting more quality time and peace within their family while still rocking their passions and careers.
Bridging the Divide is about how to do the inner work necessary to cut through division both outside and inside and feel more confident, clear, and powerful.
This week's workshop times are Tuesday, July 27th from 7-9PM EST and Thursday, July 29th from 12-2PM EST. Bring a friend and receive a bonus workbook The Self-Compassion Project.

Hello from beautiful but smoky Missoula,
I am doing online courses and Zoom meetings. Still want to be a little more aware of the Delta variant.
Looking forward to keeping cash circulating in the community.
