I worked in the marketing world as a programmer for many years. I eventually made it as a CMO and started to realize I wanted to spend more time with my family. I was ready to go out on my own and it has been great since then.

I contribute 10% of my earnings each month into our business savings until I have about 3-6 months worth of my monthly revenue. Not quite there yet but it's what I'm trying. We haven't had to worry though yet and have seen continued growth so far year over year.
