Hi I’m Victoria Shakoor, I’m the 2nd oldest of 4 children, A mother of 4, grandma and paw mom.
As a survivor of abuse at a very young age, 2 rape attempts, neglect & growing up as a latch key child, because my Mom had to work 2nd shift. I had a very low self esteem, even though I made straight A’s in grade school and middle school. During my teen yrs, I had no direction, didn’t feel safe, didn’t trust anyone, not even myself. There were times I didn’t want to be here. As an adult, I doubted my abilities, and kept making the same mistakes over and over. I would have success in my businesses, and yet couldn’t keep any money, kept choosing the wrong mates and just felt stuck, frustrated, and defeated. And I couldn’t figure out why, thinking something was wrong with me.
