After school specialist for early childhood activities. We would like partners to work with us on an after school hours schedule for children on site with us from 3:30-5:00. Sessions can be once a week or more often.

How We Got Started
We grew from a home school on Queen Anne Hill into a community setting in Magnolia with 2 classrooms and a talented team.

We have not offered a waiver for Covid-19 exposure. That would be complicated legally and not be allowed for employees. I have been on many webinars about preventative measures and risk. Informing everyone of these conditions and requiring certain precautions to keep school healthy is a more progressive approach to build trust and compliance.
As school director i network with our state Montessori association and federation of independent schools.
One part of best practice is also to do staff training weekly. We have been open on site for 6 weeks of summer with 4 classes of 10 or less and solitary teachers. We will open our school year in September with co-teachers and 2 classes of 15, allowing extra personal space and cintinue rotating outdoors. Many families have decided to stay with us for 3rd year of early childhood. And we will open another room for a group of grads who do their online school work with a tutor.
There are other families who opt to keep children home throughout the public health crisis.

We provide an early learning environment and adjusted to online by Zoom and a Facebook group to provide both sychronized and asynchronized options. We had many children tuning in and provided parents with a schedule and sent home packets to support activities. Once we had guidelines for a safe return we reopened and offered the option of on site or on line. Now with summer we have returned to on site only. Several younger children could not take an interest in on line - and all children who have returned are so happy that many of them will remain with us one more year instead of doing online Kindergarten.

Our need is not staffing but more facility space.
