    This Week's Pulse Poll Update

Down By 11%... Lowest Impact Recorded In Months

Pressure Is Easing More Across The U.S.

We're still not out of the woods, as nearly 60% of North America continues to report significant impact. However, only 9% say they're starting to feel an impact, compared to 15% who say the impact for them is declining.

Compare our Top 25 lists from last week and this week to see the overall effects of additional federal funding coming in & more companies starting to reopen their doors.

This is how last week's Top 25 most-impacted states looked:

Now behold this week's Top 25:

Many of the Top 10 are still here, but the percentages of small businesses feeling an impact in those states has dropped by 5-15% or more.

    • Rhode Island was 90% last week and now is 75%.
    • Minnesota dropped by 11%.
    • New York is down by 6%.

The range of impact for the Top 25 was 78% to 90% last week. This week, it's 67% to 83%.

COVID-Inspired Stress Has Eased Up In Canada, Too

Just compare last week's map, seen here...

With this week's map. Quite a dramatic difference.

Canada’s Top 3 Most-Impacted Provinces last week were:

    • Saskatchewan (89%)
    • Quebec (84.2%)
    • Ontario (84%)

But now, the intensity of the impact has lessened, even among the most-affected areas. Here's the new Top 3:

    • Quebec (77.5%)
    • Nova Scotia (73.5%)
    • Ontario (72.6%)

Last week, for the first time in two months, the Top 3 were under 90%. This week, for the first time, the Top 3 are under 80%.

    • Saskatchewan dropped out of the Top 3 entirely, falling from 89% to 71%.
    • Quebec took the top spot, even though it dropped nearly 7% over the week.
    • Nova Scotia joined the Top 3, but actually dropped 7.5% from last week.
    • And Ontario is holding steady in third place, but dropped more than 15% week over week.

Let's see if we can keep that progress going! Great work rebounding!

This caused me to really focus on my goals and re-think how my business ventures are structured. As an artist selling original works and commissions, I am able to adapt to an online platform. My heath and wellness coaching is already a hot topic, but I’ve been offering it for deep discounts to free. So I need to restructure my entire operation. So this has actually been a good learning experience.
