I use MailChimp myself to send my weekly newsletter to my list. When I was PTSA President at my daughter's school, I switched us from Constant Contact to MailChimp. I often recommend MailChimp to small business owners, especially to start-ups and to those who are not particularly technically inclined. MailChimp is easy to use and has robust features that a small business or other organization can use to share its message and grow its list.

I have been really impressed with Constant Contacts amazing customer service. They are always very helpful and cheerful. I feel that not only do they offer a very user friendly product at a reasonable price they also offer a lot of added value ( free webinars, blog, etc.) We have been very happy with Constant Contact so far and have recommended it to many small businesses.

I prefer Get Response. The designs are better (more choices). But the main reason is that it offers so much more than just email marketing. You can create Surveys, Webinars, Emails, Landing Pages, etc. The price is the same as MailChimp but offers more. I have used MailChimp and GetResponse and I prefer GetResponse by a mile. Just be careful when you are creating email templates to make sure that you delete both CSS and visual if you make a change in your email automation process affecting the visual!

I let Aweber run (automatically) for many years as I traveled. It works as advertised, every time, exactly the way I set it up. I visited Aweber's site the other day and was amazed by some advanced new features and streamlined procedures

I've got clients on this that love it. You can do a lot with it but there's a STEEP learning curve. It's powerful, no doubt, but it's hard to learn (they actually have conferences you can attend to learn how to use it) and it's not cheap. Most of my clients that have/are using it started out spending about $200-$300/month but as their needs grow so does the price tag. I've got clients that spend $2000/month with Infusionsoft. If you can keep your contact lists small and your staff relatively small then this is good. If you have 20 sales people and 100k contacts you'd better get your credit card ready.....

Emma makes emailing easy and gives fast simple reports back. Emma has been our email service for years now and we're not about to change.
